To the Wet Market - 06/05/14
We do our shopping at the "Wet Market" which is like a local farmers market. Its starting to get hot and walking to and from in the sticky humidity is not my favorite. The earlier you go in the day the better selection you have at the Market, so I decided to get up and go at 6:30 so I could be home and still be able to get breakfast fixed in time for school. I love earlier mornings too so it wasn't hard. This morning it happened to be beautiful! The cool, crisp air with a slight breeze made it so enjoyable to walk to the Market.
When you are walking around you never know what you are going to find. Today, I saw a guy delivering milk in glass bottles. I watched for a little bit as he brought the empty bottles to his bike and then filled his basket with some glass bottles full of milk. The "Milk Man" still exists! It reminded me of my chore as a little kid to walk down to the dairy and get the milk before going to school. So fun!

The Market in the morning is always bustling with farmers bringing in their product and restaurant owners coming buying as quick as it can be brought in. This morning as slower than other morning I've seen. Bethany and I got all our shopping and even learned some new Chinese words for the vegetables that we bought. I can't believe the prices!
