We are very fortunate that we were able to find an apartment large enough to accommodate our needs. The landlords are very nice and speak English so we are very blessed! We signed the contract in Chinese which was pretty scary since neither Connie or I can read Chinese characters.
(I'll work on a collage of pictures to post rather than posting individual pictures.)
The kids had already left for a youth pioneer trek in Beijing so it was up to Connie, Mason (6 yrs) and myself to move 20 suitcases. With help from another member of the church congregation here in Suzhou, we found a driver with a truck that helped us load all the luggage and move it to our new apartment.

We had to clean and scrub the apartment from top to bottom because there is a black film on everything here. The black film comes from the pollution here and is worse than any dust I have ever seen in the US. I will not complain about dusting after a haboob in Arizona again. This black stuff is awful!
