Tuesday morning, we woke up when we woke up and we went down to eat the breakfast buffet at the hotel. We had a buy one get one free coupon so it was $5 each – not too bad for all the food they had. We took our time and had fun trying different things. They had all kinds of fresh fruit which was AMAZING! I had some hot chocolate, cause of course I can't pass that up. The hot chocolate was like a thick pudding but tasted similar to the Mexican Hot Chocolate that Karina made on Christmas morning. I loved trying the different pastries!

We had a relaxing morning as we ate breakfast and talked for a couple of hours. We weren't in any hurry and it was nice. We went back to our room and got ready to go to the temple. The driver of our shuttle to the mall from yesterday was at the desk and he remembered us asking about the Mormon temple. They helped us call a taxi and off we went.
Our taxi driver was really funny! I guess like any foreign country the traffic is crazy! We were laughing that this vehicle sort of like an open bus, called a jipney, cut us off and on the back it had a sticker that said, "How's my driving?" I told the taxi driver he should call and report him but, the taxi driver said no. He has a similar sticker on his cab and didn't want people to report him. :)
It was great to be at the temple!!! We were able to attend a session and feel of the spirit in the temple.
While we were there we saw some missionaries outside taking district pictures and offered to take their pictures. I remember being a missionary, getting to go to the temple with my district and taking pictures after the session before we went back to our areas. It was fun to help them create memories and capture those moments.

We walked up the road a ways and a row of some restaurants. One of those being McDonald’s. Connie really wanted a Big Mac and I got a Fish sandwich. I love fish and really have wanted some lately. (I know their fish is not really fish but, what can you expect when you are in a foreign country?) We haven’t quite figured out what is considered “Filipino food.” What we have noticed is that everyone serves spaghetti!!! McDonald’s, KFC, pizza places, etc. all serve spaghetti. For dessert, we went into a “Jollibee” and had a peach mango pie that was delicious!!! Way better than some apple pie at McDonald's.
We walked back home and enjoyed the site of the city.
